yesterday our guild had 27,500 faction
today its down to 24,750 any ideas?

You lose 10% per day. Keeps the faction farming guilds from gaining permanent control of cities.

There is a 10% Faction penalty that is assessed at approx 7pm Central time.

Wow. Our guild never knew that and we would generally just blame somebody for losing in AB/dying/not giving us money/being noobish. Good to know.
